Technical Engineer – RF Planning & Optimization (Intern)
Responsibilities & Hands-on Experience
-Monitor and analyze 4G LTE / 5G NR KPIs including Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, and Throughput
-Perform RF optimization activities such as parameter tuning and feature activation under R&D guidance
-Analyze and optimize customer complaints(High PRB,Poor coverage,weak signal areas,High interference,Cell overlapping and overshooting,PCI MOD3 interference)
-Monitor KPI performance for new site on-air (3G / 4G / 5G)
- Run master baseline configuration for New cells and new sites in the live network
- Configure and optimize neighbor cell relationships (co-site and surrounding cells)
-Analyze and support resolution of sector unbalance issues of FDD/ TDD
-Learn and understand 4G/5G wireless network topology and perform daily operation using ZTE OSS tools
-Support Before / After KPI comparison to evaluate optimization effectiveness
-Prepare daily and weekly KPI reports using Excel and OSS data
-Support troubleshooting and coordinate with customer and other team
